POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained at the property and effectively manage the daily operations of the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. Focusing on the mission statement and developing a culture that takes care of the environment and gives back to the community.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Oversees the Front Office and Housekeeping Operations
• Provide leadership to increase department’s performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling and train team members
• Ensure superior performance from the staff and exhibit excellence in cultivating the guest experience and succeed in the translation of our vision through guest service
• Ensure guest satisfaction by ensuring timely resolution for all guest inquiries
• Responsible for establishing clear and effective communication between Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments
• Implements and maintains effective open-door communication system that crosses departmental lines in order to reach all employees
• Understands and ensures compliance with all governmental regulations affecting resort operations, ensuring the resort is operated in compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations and requirements of any federal, state or municipal authority
• Serve as the property MOD, must be available to respond to the property and be on call as business needs
• Evaluate procedures and implement changes to enhance the guest experience
• Assists the Resort Manager with establishing and maintaining applicable and preventative maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the resort
• Understand and ensure that all Company Risk Management Procedures and Policies are understood by front desk and Housekeeping staff
• Ensure that cleanliness, quality and safety standards are adhered to as established by Company policy
• Maintain housekeeping routine inventory and par levels
• Aid and collaborate with all team members and department managers to ensure efficiency of daily resort operations
• Complete various additional tasks and assignment as needed
